Your fellow residents at the Jewellery Quarter Neighbourhood Forum (JQNF) would be delighted to see you at an Open Meeting (inc AGM)
Date: Monday 17th July 2016 Time: 6:30 – 8:30pm (arrival from 6pm, no entry after 6:30pm) Location: The Big Peg, 120 Vyse St, Birmingham B18 6NF
The meeting will include: – an update from Sergeant James from the Jewellery Quarter Police, on crime in the area – Nicola Ridler, Chair of JQ BID, on their recent ballot for a second term – information on our plan to take part in the Canal & Rivers Trust’s Adopt a Canal scheme, which would see us tending the canal that runs through the JQ – a chance to air your views on the JQ, catch up on general developments, and find out how you can get involved.
If you live in the Jeweller Quarter the JQNF is your organisation. We are an independent voice for residents, a group of volunteers doing what we can to help make the Quarter the best possible place to live.
Residents who are part of the JQNF contribute in various ways to Quarter, through initiatives such as the JQ Plan, and the Jewellery Quarter Development Trust. But we’re keen to kick start some resident focussed activity: this it your chance to find out what’s been going on and how you can get involved.
Refreshments (tea, coffee, and biscuits) provided.
NB: please make sure you arrive by 6:30pm on the day: The Big Peg reception will close once the meeting begins, so we cannot accommodate latecomers.
Thanks very much to The Big Peg for providing the venue, and to JQ BID for use of their photo of the Golden Square
