Bodega Bar & Cantina is on a mission to quench Birmingham’s thirst with their new bar menu influenced by the sights and sounds of South America.
Popular for their authentic South American cuisine, Bodega have created a bar menu full of drinks to complement their dishes, from hand-picked wines, global beers, refreshing softs and best of all some of the most creative cocktails you’ll find this side of the Amazon.
Wine lovers will enjoy a good glug of the Bodegas Borsao Maccabeo, the perfect partner to the spicy food available from the kitchen. Beer drinkers will be spoilt for choice with the range from the bottle fridge – look out for Dos Equis, a beer back due to popular demand. For the drivers and non-drinkers the non-alcoholic section has had a boost with a Mock Margarita and an Elderflower Fizz.
The cocktails are mixed to perfection by the Bodega team; some are their takes on the classic cocktails such as the Spicy Maria (Bloody Mary) and the Blueberry and Hazelnut Daiquiri, others are the creations of the Bodega bar team. Take the Mexican inspired Dia de Los Muertos, a tequila based drink full of the flavours associated with Mexico or the Ruby Rocos – tequila, white chocolate liqueur and tawny port, yes it’s an odd sounding combination, but give it a go, you might be surprised!
Bodega is offering customers a chance to try the new cocktail menu on Tuesday April 24th when all the new additions to the menu will be served at £4.
