The Rectory Bar and Restaurant is celebrating the relaunch of its refurbished function room with a special relaunch party on Thursday 1st March 2012 and is inviting people from Birmingham’s business community to come along.
Work on transforming the basement level of The Rectory, the stylish bar and restaurant in the picturesque St Pauls Square, began at the end of last year. The most obvious change is the presence of a brand new, fully serviced bar, creating a welcoming new room as you descend the elegant spiral staircase.
“The rooms are now much more functional”, says Paul Barr the senior manager at The Rectory, “we’ve managed to create a welcoming bar area separate from the larger room, allowing us much more flexibility for all kinds of different events”. The rooms can now accommodate parties for up to 120 people or dining for parties of up to 70 people, or room for corporate events, meetings or product launches.
The event on 1st March will showcase all the new rooms have to offer. Starting at 5pm guests will be treated to a Champagne reception, followed by complimentary canapés and even a beer tasting hosted by a local brewer. Many businessmen from the Jewellery Quarter have already registered their interest and it is hoped that the evening will also prove to be a great networking opportunity not just for businesses in the Jewellery Quarter but also the wider Birmingham region.
For those wishing to register their interest, the easiest way is to use the enquiry form directly from The Rectory’s website www.rectorybar.co.uk or by calling 0121 605 1001.
