Live music, food, crafts and kids activities – this is Birmingham’s local Christmas market.
For an alternative to the German market, pop over to the Jewellery Quarter this Saturday for entertainment, great food and family fun.
The 24 Carrots market is hosting extra large markets for November and December. Shoppers can top up their larder and choose from a range of Christmas gifts with more choices of food plus a variety of craft stalls.
In addition this month there will be family entertainment with face-painting and free Christmas biscuit decorating – carrot-shaped, of course! And for music fans, there’s live jazz from the West Midlands-based Giocoso Saxophone Quartet.
Local business owner Alan Sharman commented “I love the vibe of the local market. It’s drawing more people to the Jewellery Quarter each month, and is bucking the trend and actually expanding in the current economic climate. It’s great to support local businesses at this time of year.”
The market is on Saturday 19th November, 10am-3pm outside the Big Peg in Warstone Lane, B18 6NA. The following market is on 17th December.
